Saliva Screen 5 Interactive Training Program

Step 1

1. Make sure, that there is nothing in the patient's mouth for at least 15-20 minutes. It is important because adulterated saliva could give a false result.  
2. Prepare test pouch, instruction and extraction buffer. Bring the test pouch to room temperature 70-90°F. Read the instruction.
   

Step 2

1. Remove the saliva collection device, which looks like a syringe, out of the pouch, making sure not to contaminate the device.
2. If it is your protocol to ID the device, write patient's ID directly on the device.
